The general focus of the
Global Community Project
is to find cities, communities, villages that are off the beaten path throughout the world, that provide a unique insight into the particular culture of that region. This expedition is clearly multi-faceted but our main goal is to totally immerse ourselves in the "authentic life" in order to create and share our lives in a multi-cultural learning community. These Global Community Projects usually includes 12 to 18 participants and 2 adult leaders.
GCP
- Phapang, Thailand
Over a decade we have been traveling to the village of Phapang and in that time their English has improved incredibly. We feel proud of our students who have now started placing first in district and province competitions. It was at this point we decided to inspire more growth and development by fundraising to build an English Library. This library would allow both students and teachers to practice English and read every day throughout the year. It is a project that we are very proud of and we are happy we were able to share in its creation with you.
